Lamine Yamal began his career with the Senegalese club Diaraf. In 2010, he moved to the French club Sedan. He spent three seasons with Sedan before moving to the Qatari club Al-Sailiya in 2013.
Yamal has been capped for the Senegal national team at senior level. He was part of the Senegal squad that won the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
