Lisa Bonet's departure from The Cosby Show in 1991 was a significant moment in the series' history. After the show's third season, Bonet was written off the show due to creative differences regarding her character's storyline. She initially left to pursue other acting opportunities and focus on her personal life, including her marriage to musician Lenny Kravitz.
